Barclay William Long

Arapahoe, Nebraska Barclay William Long, age 75, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on Sunday October 7, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1937 at South Gate, California to Francis E. & Veta I. (Baker) Long. He was born and raised in California. He worked in the aeronautical engineering field before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He would serve from 1957 until 1959. He would own and operate an auto repair shop, working specifically on special cars in Santa Monica, California. He married Linda Johnson. They would move to Arapahoe, Nebraska after he retired. His wife Linda passed away on January 7, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda J. Long.
