Beverly Ann Huxoll, age 80, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, formerly of Holbrook, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born on April 7, 1934 at Merna, Nebraska to Kenneth & Frieda (Leibert) Kennedy.
She went to school in Comstock, Nebraska and graduated from Sargent High School in Sargent, Nebraska. She went on to Kearney State College for 2 years to become a teacher. She taught in Weissert & Loomis, Nebraska. She married Charles “Chuck” Huxoll December 23, 1956 in Loomis, Nebraska. They lived in Holdrege for a short time before moving north of Holbrook in 1957. They then moved south of Holbrook in 1958. Bev had several jobs throughout her life; teacher, homemaker, janitor at Holbrook Public Schools, bookkeeper for the Holbrook Co-op, worked in laundry department at the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Nursing Home, drove bus for the Arapahoe/Holbrook School District, and helping on the farm. She loved the farm life and taking long walks in the country. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crafts of all kinds. Due to her health she had to move into Elwood Care Center in August 2014, then to C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center in November 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and son Mark Charles Huxoll.
She is survived by her husband Charles Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska

There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cambridge, Nebraska with Pastor Brett Hinrichs, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the services.
