Blanch Leota Feusner, age 99, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska. She was born February 6, 1910 at Beaver City, Nebraska to Justin and Maud (Elder) Foss.
Blanch was a life long resident of Beaver City, Nebraska. She graduated from Beaver City High School with the class of 1927. She taught school for 2 years in Furnas County Rural School following graduation. In July of 1930 she was appointed substitute clerk at Beaver City Post Office and later became clerk. She retired from the Postal Service in 1966. She married Clarence "Pete" Feusner on Oct 9, 1942. Pete died June 7, 1984. She served on the Beaver City Library Board for 8 years, spent many years as volunteer at Library, Red Cross Bloodmobile, Beaver City Manor and Beaver City Senior Center. She moved to Beaver City Manor and Assisted Living on August 21, 2003.
She was member of First Presbyterian Church at Beaver City, Nebraska and Beaver City Federated Womans Club for many years. She also was an avid Bridge Card Player.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband "Pete", Sisters: Elizabeth Bonser, Rhoda Hall, Minne Leora King and Geraldine Foss and 3 Brothers: Harry, Harold and Justin.
Survivors include: Sister-in-law: Marjorie Foss of Carlsbad, New Mexico
2 Nephews; Larry Foss of Glendale, AZ and Jerry Foss of Colby, Kansas
4 Nieces: Yvonne Musil of Goodland, KS; Frances Capps of Stanton, CA; Dorothy Greening of Holdrege, NE; and Elnor Lofquist of Elwood, NEbraska.
1 Cousin: Florene Osborn of Beaver City, Nebraska

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska with Co-Pastors, Joyce & Ivan Dean of Beaver City First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
