Bonnie Jean Perkins, age 58, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home near Beaver City, Nebraska. Bonnie was born in Holdrege, NE on September 13th, 1955 to Howard and Adella (Osterbuhr) Lienemann.
She graduated from Wilcox High School in 1973 as valedictorian. She then went on to attain three baccalaureate degrees in religious studies, Christian education, and sociology from Anderson University in Indiana and was voted the ‘most valuable player’ of Anderson’s volleyball team. It was during her college years that met Lynn Perkins while working as camp counselors at Camp Joy in Republican City. They married on November 26th, 1977 and their relationship not only survived the hectic summers at camp, but it has flourished for 36 years despite the many ups and downs of life. Her passion for the ministry was evidenced by her commitment to pastor the Friendship Center Church in Beaver City for 32 years and serving as a chaplain at Valley Hope of Norton, Kansas for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband Lynn Perkins of Beaver City, Nebraska

Wayne Lienemann and wife Linda of Axtell, Nebraska
Sisters Maxine Egley and husband Tom of Mission Viejo, California
Cheryl Loschen and husband Bill of Hildreth, Nebraska
Mary Thomas and husband Mike of Lincoln, Nebraska
Linda Post and husband Jason of Bridgeport, Nebraska
She is preceded in death by her mother, Adella Lienemann, father, Howard Lienemann, brother, Vaughn Dale Lienemann and sister, Wanda Lienemann.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 2 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor Ken Breinig, officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, in Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
