Charles Henry Huxoll, age 93, of Holbrook, Nebraska passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home. He took his orneriness, his smile, and the twinkle in his eye to meet his Maker and be reunited with his loved ones.
He was born on November 24, 1930, to Fred and Louise (Koeteman) Huxoll. He served in the Army, in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954 while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He loved to tell stories to all about his time and experiences. Chuck was driver for gravel and sand work for Weverka Gravel Company. He farmed the rest of his life. He drove a school bus for Holbrook and Arapahoe Schools. Many fun stories about that time in his life.
He met and married Beverly Ann Kennedy and to this union, they raised 5 children. Left to mourn is Theresa Koeneke (Bob) of Lincoln, NE, Shane (Cyndi) Huxoll of Lexington, Nebraska, Tracy Marshall of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jill Hill (Josh) of McCook, Nebraska, and stepdaughter Laurie Feffer (Darryl) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Grandchildren: Andy Koeneke (Joa), Anna Koeneke, Tracy Koeneke, Josi (Justin) Taylor, Jessica Renner (Justin), Jeremy Gabel, Nick Marshall, Shyanne Nielsen (Adam), Macy Hill and Brynn Hill. Great-Grandchildren: Katie Randeris (Nick), Kameron Marshall, Katrina Bussart, Blake Marshall, Ida Koeneke, Rex Koeneke, Judson and Jadalyn Taylor, and Great-Great Granddaughter Bailey Randeris. Brother: Jim Huxoll (LeAnn), sisters-in-law: Dorothy Huxoll, Brenda Huxoll, Sharon Krikac, Patty Johnson (Ken), Brothers-in-law Lynn Kennedy (Barb), Bruce Kennedy (Kay), and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by wife, Beverly, son Mark Huxoll, grandson Brian Koeneke, Chuck’s brothers and sisters and their respective spouses.
