Darrell D. Beins

Beaver City, Nebraska Darrell D. Beins, age 75, of Phillipsburg, Kansas formerly of the Beaver City & Stamford, Nebraska area, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Harlan County Hospital at Alma, Nebraska. He was born September 3, 1929 at Stamford, Nebraska to Lawrence & Yvonne (Bundy) Satter. He was later adopted by Gilbert Beins as his parents separated at his young age. After his folks separated he lived with his grandparents; Guy & Florence Bundy. His mother later married Gilbert Beins who in turn adopted him. He grew up on a farm South of Precept, Nebraska. He attended and graduated from Almena, Kansas High School with the class of 1949. Following graduation he joined the US Marine Corp and served 1 ½ before being discharged cause of sickness in his family, therefore he returned home to farm the family farm. He married Phyllis Lambert Clason on October 6, 1984, she died August 9, 1999. He moved into Beaver City in 1984 and continued to farm till 2002 when he retired. In June of 2003 he moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas to be near his sister. He was a board member of Maple Creek Cemetery Association for nearly 60 years. He was a member of New Wine Fellowship Church at Orleans, Nebraska. Preceded in death by Mother Yvonne Beins, Step-Father Gilbert Beins, His Father Lawrence Satter and Wife Phyllis. Survivors include: Sister Maxine & husband Leonard Robinson of Phillipsburg, Kansas Several nieces & nephews. Viewing and visistation will be Tuesday, 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska. Casket will not be opened at church or day of services. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at 10 AM at New Wine Fellowship Church in Orleans, Nebraska with Pastor Lana Dake, Officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City, Nebraska with Military honors graveside. Memorials to New Wine Fellowship Church in his memory can be left at funeral home or the church.
