Dean Eugene Huxoll

Arapahoe, Nebraska Dean Eugene Huxoll, age 50, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge, Nebraska. He was born March 24, 1962, at Cambridge, Nebraska to Norman and Dorothy (Riepe) Huxoll. He was baptized at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, northeast of Holbrook, Nebraska. He was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cambridge on June 6, 1976 by Rev. Gordon A. Peterson. He started attending country school before going to Eustis, Nebraska for school. He would graduate from Holbrook High School with the Class of 1980. After high school, he started college at Sidney, Nebraska. He would then start working several construction jobs including building tennis courts in Denver, Colorado and worked for Pearson Construction. He worked on the family farm and several other farmers for most of his life. He married Kammi Huxoll on August 28, 2010. He had a daughter Mandy and Step-daughter Jessica which he called Sunshine 1 & 2. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and building. He loved spending time with his family and friends and wouldn’t say no to help anyone at anytime. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Fred & Louise Huxoll & Harry and Ella Riepe, mother-in-law Marge Avary-Horn, father-in-law Gib Horn, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is survived by his wife Kammi Huxoll of Arapahoe, Nebraska Daughter: Mandy Huxoll and special friend Chris Haveman of Cambridge, Nebraska Step-daughter: Jessica Huxoll of McCook, Nebraska Parents: Norman & Dorothy Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska Brother-In-Law: Gary Avary & wife Audry of Rapid City, South Dakota And many Aunts, Uncles, & cousins. Condolences and personal reflections may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com No viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Elwood, Nebraska with Rev. Mary Fuller, officiating. Inurnment will then be at a later date. Memorial may be given in his name. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
