Donald George Sarr

Donald George Sarr, age 91, of Elwood, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at his home in Elwood, Nebraska. He was born on November 2, 1929 in Lexington, Nebraska to Ray and Ola (Wilson) Sarr. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for 3 years. After his service, he worked as a lineman until 1986 when he retired. He was married to Iva Livingston on May 5, 1956. They later divorced in 1972. He then married Dorothy Lee, she passed away on November 25, 1999. George was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy Sarr, brothers Dale, Gerald, Eugene, Robert, Edward, and Darrell, sister Delma Mae Muldoon, Sue Brand, and Donna Satterthwaite. He is survived by his son Raymond Dale Sarr of Rialta, California, daughters; Nancy Ann (Steve) Volker, of Jackson, Michigan, and Anita Maria (Matthew) Janson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Geraldine Noble of Elwood, Nebraska, 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
