Ella Mae Riepe

Arapahoe, Nebraska Ella Mae Riepe, age 92, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on November 25, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Society, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on October 11, 1915 at Hannibal, Missouri to Charles E. & Edith (Bowen) Fletcher. She moved with her family to Peoria, Illinois before moving to Edison, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Harry Riepe on March 21, 1934 and were blessed with 60 years of married life together. After marriage, they made their home on a farm south of Arapahoe, Nebraska. They would farm for a number of years. In 1952 they moved to Arapahoe, Nebraska and then to Sunshine Village of Arapahoe, Nebraska in 1982. Her husband Harry passed away in 1994. In July of 2007, she moved to the Good Samaritan Society of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Riepe, son Delbert Riepe, & daughter Coleen Yeager, sister Thelma Riepe & Bernice Jones, brother Ciebert Fletcher, 2 son-in-laws Frank Hinz & LeRoy VonLoh, 2 grandchildren & one great-grandson in infancy. She is survived by her Sons: Wayne & wife Brenda Riepe of Palmdale, California James & wife Karin Riepe of Englewood, Colorado Daughters: Edith Hinz of Arapahoe, Nebraska Dorothy & husband Norman Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska Della Mae VonLoh of Arapahoe, Nebraska Son-In-Law: Don Yeager of Louisville, Kentucky Grandchildren: 15 Great-Grandchildren: 32 Great-Great Grandchildren: 7 Condolences & personal reflections may be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Thursday, November 29, and Friday, November 30, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Interment will be in the Arapahoe Cemetery, at Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
