Freda Dee Marble, age 75, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at her home in Oxford, Nebraska. She was born on August 6, 1939 in Oxford, Nebraska to Cecil & Fayetta (Henry) Hall.
She graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1957. She married Gib Knipschild on March 23, 1957. Her husband joined the military, so they lived in Germany, Turkey, California, Okinawa, Midway Islands, Maryland, North Carolina, Spain, & Nebraska. They divorced in 1980. She would then marry Arlyn E. Marble on October 6, 1988 at Norton, Kansas. They made there home at Hollinger, Nebraska. Freda worked for Walker Post Nursing Home, in Oxford as a nurse’s assistant. She then cooked at the Beaver City Manor and Beaver City Schools. She also raised dogs, primarily Pomeranian Breed. After Arlyn passed away in 2010, she would move to Oxford, Nebraska.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hollinger, Eagle’s Club of Holdrege, Nebraska and the American Kennel Club. She enjoyed reading books, visiting with family and friends, going for drives in the car, and especially grandchildren’s ball games.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arlyn Marble, infant son Ricky & infant daughter Kelly, & son Randy Knipschild, & son-in-law Tommy Wheeler.
She is survived by her daughters: Kitty & husband Tony Harbison of Bastrop, Texas
Kandy Wheeler of Oxford, Nebraska
Grandchildren: Paege Milligan, Sarah Knipschild, Sonja Knipschild, Justine McMurray, Amy Tostanoski, Lindsey Neill
Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn & Madison Ford, Emily Milligan, Logan Johnson, Eleysia Milligan, Vin Knipschild, Eva & Elliot Neill
Uncle: Bob & wife Joann Hall of Beaver City, Nebraska
Dogs: Tara & Bella
& numerous nieces and nephews, relatives & friends.

Memorial services will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10 AM at the United Methodist Church in Hollinger, Nebraska with Rev. Jane Blum, officiating. Inurnment will be at Union Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
