Frederick Louis "Fritz" Haussler

Arapahoe, Nebraska Frederick Louis "Fritz" Haussler, age 76, of Holbrook, Nebraska, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska. He was born on October 7, 1930 at Holbrook, Nebraska to Frederick A.C. & Martha L. (Rodenbeck) Haussler. He was baptized on November 2, 1930 and confirmed June 11, 1944 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Holbrook, Nebraska. He attended country school near the family's home northwest of Holbrook, Nebraska and then Holbrook High School where he graduated with the Class of 1948. He married Elaine Fritz on August 6, 1950 at Holbrook, Nebraska. They made there home on the family farm northwest of Holbrook, Nebraska. He would work for Barney Franke for a short time and then would farm until 1996. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Holbrook, Nebraska and later transferred to Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. He also was a member of the Lion’s Club, of Holbrook, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Eugene in 1972, brothers-in law Warren Heinzman & Don Mayes. He is survived by his wife Elaine Haussler of Holbrook, Nebraska Daughter: Suzanne Volz of Kilmarmock, Virginia Sisters: Elaine Mayes & Thelma Heinzman of Grand Island, Nebraska Grandchildren: 3 Great-Grandchildren: 4 Condolences or personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com. Viewing & visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 27, at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Burial will be at Holbrook Cemetery, Holbrook, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska which is in charge of arrangements.
