Georgia Grace Esslinger

Arapahoe, Nebraska Georgia Grace Esslinger, age 50, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Holdrege, NE. She was born on January 8, 1954 at Oxford, Nebraska to Earl “Bill” & Grace C. (Bowen) Land. She attended High School at Oxford where she graduated in 1972. After school, she married Roy Charles Esslinger on May 21, 1972 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood, NE. They made their home on a farm north of Arapahoe. They farmed for several years. In 1989 they moved to Arapahoe, NE. She resided at their home until moving to C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center of Arapahoe, NE because of her illness. Her husband Roy Esslinger passed away on October 10, 2004. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, NE and the Royal Neighbors of America, of Oxford, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Roy. Survivors include Son: William & wife Misty Esslinger of Omaha, NE Daughter: Amanda & husband Donald Conn of Arapahoe, NE Brothers: William J. & wife Betty Land of Nemaha, Nebraska Robert M. & wife Charlene Land of Bertrand, Nebraska Sisters: Beverly Ann & husband Bill Phillips of Henderson, CO Martha Marie & husband Joe Miller of Omaha, NE Sandra Jane & husband Gary Dawson of Oxford, NE Grandchildren: 5 Funeral Services will be Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at 1:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Arapahoe, NE with Rev. Jeff Ernstmeyer, officiating. Viewing and visitation will be Friday, Dec. 3, from 9 AM until 8 PM at the Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE and prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Arapahoe, NE. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
