Kenneth C. McClelland, age 86, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Methodist Homes in Holdrege, Nebraska. He was born June 20, 1918 at Almena, Kansas to Charles & Emma (Williams) McClelland.
He grew up on the farm near Almena, Kansas. He graduated from Almena High School with the class of 1936. He served in the US Army during WWII. He married Noreen Davis on Aug 5, 1947 at Almena, Kansas. She died following complications giving child birth on July 26, 1948. He married Darleen Roeder at Almena, Kansas on July 3, 1949. Worked at First State Bank in Almena, Kansas for 10 years before moving to Beaver City, Nebraska on May 29, 1957 where he was employed by First State Bank of Beaver City, Nebraska and retired in February of 1983. He continued to serve on the board of directors for the bank at his time of death. He also started McClelland Insurance in 1964 and continued to operate it up to his death in Beaver City, Nebraska.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Beaver City where he had been finance chairman for over 30 years. He was a member of Beaver City Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club and American Legion Post all of Beaver City, Nebraska. He had served on the City Council at one time and also coached summer Baseball teams at one time in Beaver City.
Preceded in death by parents, first wife Noreen Faith Davis on July 26, 1948.

Viewing and visitation will be Monday, noon till 8 PM and Tuesday 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church in Beaver City with Pastor Linda Knipping, officiating.
