Arapahoe, Nebraska Larry James Moore, age 64, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Cambridge Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on August 4, 1946 to John & Naola (Willcox) Moore in Kingman, Kansas. He graduated high school from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Nebraska. On April 1, 1968, he married Sheila Rae Vanek in Belleville, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Kimberly & Scott Moore. In 1971, he began working for Adams Construction of Arapahoe, Nebraska. He was a scraper operator for sometime, and then be promoted to Forman. He would remain with Adams Construction until the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marla Sue, and brother-in-laws Jerry Williams & Ed Hueser. He is survived by his wife Sheila Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska Daughter: Kimberly & husband Kevin Herbert of Arapahoe, Nebraska Son: Scott & wife Angie Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska 2 Grandchildren: Jacob & Lauren Moore Sisters: Shirley Williams of Kearney, Nebraska Karol Moore of Hastings, Nebraska Judy Hueser of Kearney, Nebraska Brothers: Mike & wife Bobbi Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska Terrance & wife Patricia Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska Roger Moore of Oshkosh, Nebraska Patrick Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska Jeffry & wife Lori Moore of Arapahoe, Nebraska Condolences or personal reflections can be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com Viewing & visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor Melody Adams, officiating. Interment will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, at Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
