Lesley Towsen, age 55, of Cambridge, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 19, 1969, in Pretoria, South Africa to Willie Towsen and Jenny van Dorp.
While in South Africa, he owned and operated an endurance riding school on his farmland outside of Pretoria. He also did custom airplane painting for about 10 years. During this time, he also enjoyed deep sea diving in Sodwana on the east coast of South Africa and various custom restoration hobbies.
Upon moving to America, Lesley had several agricultural & mechanical jobs. Then made his home in Cambridge where he met Kamie. They were married in October of 2014, together they were blessed with two daughters Paisyn (7) and Jade (5). Lesley worked at NCP while living in Cambridge and raising his girls together as a team with Kamie.
Lesley was very proud of his family. Paisyn and Jade were his world, he was an amazing father who enjoyed evenings after work taking the girls to the pool and jet skiing at the lake. He kept in touch and adored his nephews in South Africa. He was always busy in the yard working on various projects, going on bike rides, power lifting, and playing with his RC collection with his girls.
Lesley was proceeded in death by his parents Willie Towsen and Jenny van Dorp.
He was survived by his daughters Paisyn and Jade Towsen of Cambridge, mother of his daughters Kamie Towsen of Cambridge, sister Jacky Vosloo Kruger (husband Pete Kruger), Dyllan & Clayton Vosloo of Pretoria, brother Erick Towsen (wife Mignon), Tristan & Aiden Towsen of Pretoria, brother Mark Towsen of Pretoria, brother Eugene Towsen of Pretoria, along with coworkers and friends along his life journey.
