Lisa D. (Whitbeck) Ohrman

Arapahoe, Nebraska Lisa D. (Whitbeck) Ohrman, age 46, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 west of Bartley, Nebraska as a result of a car accident. She was born on July 15, 1964 at Holdrege, Nebraska to John A. & Edith Mae (Palmer) Whitbeck. She was raised at Arapahoe, Nebraska and graduated from Arapahoe High School with the class of 1982. After high school she attended Nebraska Christian College, at Norfolk, Nebraska. Much of her life was dedicated to her love of animals. She raised and trained horses, and was an active member of the Quarter Horse Association. She loved cats and dogs and many she raised to sell. She belonged to the Bulldog Club of America. For many years she ran her own Nail Technician business for many people in the area. On April 5, 2009 she married Darrell Ohrman at the Iron Mountain Country Church, in Federal, Wyoming. They made their home in Arapahoe. She was a member of the Arapahoe Christian Church, of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was the President for many years of the Arapahoe Alumni Association. She is preceded in death by her father John Whitbeck, and both grandparents. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10 AM at the Arapahoe Christian Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor David Welch, officiating.
