Arapahoe, Nebraska Lorene Frances Butter, age 76, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born on February 14, 1929 at Bethany, Missouri to Thomas & Essie (Wiley) Ungles. She attended school at Palisade Public Schools, Palisade, NE. After her schooling, she helped her mother who ran the grocery store in Palisade. On June 26, 1948 she married Paul Everett Butter at Trenton, NE. While her husband worked as a mechanic, they moved to different towns in Central and Southwest Nebraska. In 1978 they moved to Arapahoe, Nebraska. She would work at the Oxford Cheese Plant, in Oxford, NE and the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Care Center of Arapahoe, and have her own day care in Arapahoe. On July 17, 1996 her husband Paul E. passed away. She attended the Evangelical Free Church of Arapahoe, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Everett, son Donald Ray, Infant daughter Peggy Lou, Grandson Danny Arms, and 12 Brothers & Sisters. Survivors include son: William & wife Betty Butter of Arapahoe, NE Daughter: Linda Arms of Gothenburg, NE Grandchildren: 5 Great-Grandchildren: 6 Condolences or Personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, NE with Rev. Don Sailor, officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, from 1 PM until 8 PM and Monday, May 2, from 9 AM until 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE. Burial will be at Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, NE. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
