Lucille LaVade Weglarz

Arapahoe, Nebraska Lucille LaVade Weglarz, age 87, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died Friday, May 6, 2005 at C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center, Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on January 2, 1918 at Hudsonville, Illinois to Alvin & Grace (Chapman) Swinger. She graduated high school from Lakewood High School, Chicago, IL. She began doing bookkeeping at the local general store and then worked for wire manufacturing company for the next 37 years and retired in 1985. On February 22, 1969 she married George Frank Weglarz in Chicago, Illinois. On August 27, 2003 her husband passed away. In November of 2003 she moved to Arapahoe, Nebraska to be close to family. She was a member of the St. Michaels Church, of Norridge, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George F., and brothers Howard & Lyle Swinger, & sister Dale Mroz. Survivors include daughter: Kitra Kalletta of Arapahoe, NE Grandchildren: 4 Great-Grandchildren: 9 Condolences or Personal reflections can be left at www.wenburgfuneralhome.com. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, May 9, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the St. Germanus Catholic Church of Arapahoe, NE with Father Robert Barmhill, officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, from 1 PM until 5 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, NE. Inurnment will be at a later date. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
