Malinda Maria Niemeier, age 87, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was born on October 8, 1919 north of Arapahoe, Nebraska to Ernest & Minnie (Mues) Niemeier.
She was raised on the family farm north of Arapahoe, Nebraska in Furnas County and attended St. Matthews Parochial School of Holbrook, Nebraska. After her schooling, she lived in Holbrook, Nebraska and worked for many years as a Cook at the Cambridge (Minnick's) Hospital, in Cambridge, Nebraska and C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She would move to Sunshine Village in Arapahoe, Nebraska and in August of 2007 moved to C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutheran Ladies Mission, & Golden Age Group, of Arapahoe, Nebraska and the Golden Age Bible Study of Holbrook, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers: Herman & Walter Niemeier, Sisters: Sophia Mock, & Louise Lemmon, Sister-in-Laws: Sophia & Alice Niemeier, & Brother-in-Laws: Arthur Mock & Raymond Lemmon.
Survivors included her brother: Clarence & wife Norma Niemeier of Cambridge, Nebraska
& Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Viewing & visitation will be Friday, October 5, 2007 from 9 AM till 8 PM at the Wenburg Funeral Home, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. David Otten, officiating. Interment will be at St. Matthews Cemetery, rural Holbrook, Nebraska. Memorials suggestions are C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center & Trinity Lutheran Church, of Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
