Marjorie Lucille Warner, age 95, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Nebraska. She was born at Wilsonville, Nebraska to Charlie and Glades (Williams) Litz on April 7, 1923. She graduated from Wilsonville High School in 1940. She taught for 5 years at rural schools in Frontier and Furnas County, Nebraska. She married Robert O. Warner Jr. on June 10, 1945 at McCook, Nebraska. They lived on a farm northwest of Beaver City, Nebraska. In 1961, they moved to the farm south west of Arapahoe and in 1977 would purchase and move to their current home on the southeast side of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She witnessed the 1935 Republican River Flood, endured the Great Depression, and raised a family of 4 sons; helping her husband growing crops, raising hogs, and cattle for 70 plus years. For several years, she enjoyed cooking at the Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe and at the Arapahoe Public Schools. She was a life-long supporter of the 4-H program in Furnas County, attending over 75 Furnas County Fairs and watching her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren display their many projects. Marjorie was a Mid Valley Home Extension Club member for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She and Robert had many enjoyable nights Square Dancing with local dance groups and quilting in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Litz, sister Helen Litz, daughter-in-law Tammi Warner, infant grandson Justin Warner, and Granddaughter-in-law Kasey Jo Warner. She is survived by her sons: Jerry & wife Naomi Warner of Omaha, Nebraska Monte & wife Kristie Warner of Arapahoe, Nebraska Reginald & wife Mary Kay Warner of Arapahoe, Nebraska Ervin & wife Lorri Warner of Arapahoe, Nebraska 11 grandchildren: Jeremy Warner, Jennifer Renken, Darren Warner, Dan Warner, Kristin Vest, Jason Warner, Carmen Hall, Justin Schultz, Alex Schultz, Lauren Anderson, Logan Warner. 11 Great-Grandchildren: Grant Renken, Gunner Renken, Aubree Warner, Bryson Warner, Addelyn Warner, Gentry Warner, Berkley Warner, Kallan Warner, Creyton Warner, Jet Schultz, and Beau Warner and a host of relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church or the Furnas County 4-H council.
