Matthew Jerome Snyder

Arapahoe, Nebraska Matthew Jerome Snyder, age 48, of Los Osos, California, died on June 27, 2008 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born on December 12, 1959 in McCook, Nebraska to Robert & Patricia (Heiser) Snyder. He grew up in Arapahoe, Nebraska and was baptized and confirmed in the St. Germanus Catholic Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. He attended school in Arapahoe and graduated from Arapahoe High School with the Class of 1978. After graduation, he would work for several local farmers and area businesses. He then went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad. In the mid 1980's, he moved to Denver, Colorado to work for a structural engineering testing company. Later, he would move to California and work for a general contracting company located in San Luis Obispo, California. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Snyder. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 1, at 10:30 AM at St. Germanus Catholic Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Father Robert Barnhill, officiating. Rosary service will be prior to the service on Tuesday, July 1, at 9:45 AM at St. Germanus Catholic Church, in Arapahoe, Nebraska. Burial will be at the Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
