Maxine Severns

orton, Kansas Maxine Severns, age 88, of Norton, Kansas died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Andbe Home in Norton, Kansas. She was born September 15, 1915 at Norton, Kansas to Roy & Clara (Mason) Wyatt. Maxine was a life long resident of Norton, Kansas. She grew up in Norton, Kansas and graduated from Norton High School. She married Verne Severns on January 14, 1935 at Oberlin, Kansas. They farmed North East of Norton most of their lives. Verne died June 5, 1998. Maxine moved to Andbe Home in Norton on January 7, 2004. Preceded in death by parents, husband and daughter, Sandra, and 4 grand-daughters. Survivors include; Son; Neil & wife Donna Severns of Norton, Kansas Grandchildren: 4 Great-Grandchildren: 2 Great-Great Grandchildren: 1 Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2004 from 1 PM till 8 PM and also Friday 9 AM till noon at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska. Family request no flowers but Memorials to Norton High School Scholarship Fund or Andbe Home they can be left at services or mailed to funeral home in Beaver City, Nebraska. Graveside services will be Friday, September 17, 2004 at 1:30 PM at Norton Cemetery at Norton, Kansas with Pastor Wilmer E. Severns, officiating. Family request that you come dressed “as you usually are” for the graveside services. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
