Ramona A. Chambers, age 80, of Cambridge, Nebraska, formerly of Arapahoe & Wilsonville Nebraska, passed away on November 29, 2008 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. She was born November 7, 1928 on the family farm near Lyle, Kansas to Harry D. & Aril A. (Ankenman) Warner.
She attended Lebanon Nebraska High School and graduated with the class of 1946. She married Clyde E. Chambers October 12, 1949, in Lebanon. They farmed for 52 years in the Wilsonville & Lyle area. They retired in 2000 and moved to Arapahoe. Her husband Clyde passed away on September 9, 2002. She entered the Cambridge Tri-Valley Assisted Living Facility in April of 2007. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and IHO Ladies club in Wilsonville, Royal Neighbors in Lebanon and served for a few years on the Wilsonville election board. She was an avid bowler, reader, gardener and enjoyed crossword puzzles, games and conversation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde, and brother Dean Warner

Viewing & visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, from 1 PM till 8 PM, and Thursday, December 4, from 9 AM till 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, Nebraska and prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be Friday, December 5, at 10:30 AM at United Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, Nebraska with Pastor Craig Christner of McCook, officiating. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery. Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
