Robert E. Harman

Arapahoe, Nebraska Robert E. Harman, age 93, of Arapahoe, Nebraska died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Holdrege, Nebraska. He was born on September 29, 1910 at Edison, Nebraska to John & Florence (Clark) Harman. He grew up on a farm north of Edison and attended rural Gosper County School District #12. On March 2, 1932 he married Frances G. Waln at Holdrege, NE. They resided on a farm north of Edison, NE where they farmed and raised cattle. In 1946 they moved to Arapahoe, NE while he still farmed north of Edison. On October 23, 1970 his wife Frances passed away. He entered C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center in September of 2003 He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances, Brother John, 4 sisters Alice Ebmeier, Edith Harman, Bessie Manning, Belle Harman, & Great Granddaughter Lindsay Kister. Survivors include 2 daughters: Wyoma & husband Richard Andrews of Omaha, NE Laree & husband Gerald Silver, of Funk, NE 1 Sister: Helen Harman, of Lincoln, NE Grandchildren: 6 Great-Grandchildren: 12 Great-Great Grandchildren: 1 Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:30 AM at the Wenburg Funeral Home of Arapahoe, NE with Pastor Murray Jones, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 19, from 1 PM until 8 PM & Friday, Aug. 20, from 9 AM until 8 PM at the Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE. Burial will be at Arapahoe Cemetery, Arapahoe, NE. Memorials may be given to the Arapahoe Senior Center and the Arapahoe Rescue Squad. Wenburg Funeral Home, of Arapahoe, NE is in charge of the arrangements. .
