Ruth P. Stalder, age 78, of Beaver City, Nebraska was born February 28, 1934 at Beaver City, Nebraska to John G. & Laura (Shackelton) Richard and died November 13, 2012 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at Cambridge, Nebraska.
She grew up in Beaver City till the family moved to several states before settling in California. She graduated from Santa Cruz, California High School with the class of 1952. She married Donald Stalder on February 23, 1952 at Santa Cruz, California. Following marriage they moved to Beaver City, Nebraska where they farmed South of Beaver City until her husband died in 1987. She moved into Beaver City, Nebraska in 1988 and resided here since. She loved cooking, sewing and scrapbooking. She was the cook for the Beaver City Senior Center for several years.
She was a charter member of Evangelical Wesleyan Church in Beaver City, Nebraska. She a various offices within the church. She was Sunday School teacher, pianist, treasurer, secretary and delegate to annual conference over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Step-Mothers; Gladys, Alberta and Naomi. Grandson Brian Brush, and brothers; Alfred, Ray, Floyd and Ted.
Survivors include: Sons: David Stalder and wife Marianne of Aliquippa, PA.
James Stalder and wife Maratha of Beaver City, Nebraska
Daughters: Deborah and husband Lyndon Gregg of Beaver City, Nebraska
Donita and husband Leon Brush of Beckley, West Virginia
Sisters: Evelyn and husband Robert Hagemeyer of Cheyenne, Wyoming
Alice Kniggie of Omaha, Nebraska
Grandchildren: 16 Great-Grandchildren: 23

Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 1 PM until 7 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10 AM at Faith Community Church in Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor John MacDonald, officiating. Burial to follow at Mt Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska.
