Thelma R. Stoker, age 86, of Mesa, Arizona, died suddenly in an automobile accident on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mesa, Arizona. She was born on April 22, 1927 in Mountain View, Missouri to Walter & Florence (Schelling) Prine.
Thelma married Dean Morse on August 16, 1943 and was a long time resident of Colorado. Dean would pass away in 1989. She later married Felix Stoker and moved from Colorado to Arizona in 2000, where she lived the rest of her life. She took pride in being a Christian and was greatly admired by those privileged to know her; she made friends easily and she was happy to sit and visit or write out cards to loved ones. She will be missed by her many friends and family in Arizona and Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dean.
She is survived by her son: Dennis & wife Mary Ellen Morse of Denver, Colorado
daughter: Charlene & husband Larry Stanley of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Grandchildren: Aaron Stanley, Lisa (Evan) Harris, Bradley (Erica) Morse

Visitation will be 1 hour before the start of the funeral service. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Arapahoe Christian Church, Arapahoe, Nebraska with Pastor David Welch, officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska is in charge of the arrangements.
