Thomas Arthur Biros

Arapahoe, Nebraska Thomas Arthur Biros, Sr., age 92, passed away on September 20, 2007 at the Beaver City Manor, Beaver City, Nebraska. He was born on February 8, 1915 in Braceville (Grundy County), Illinois to John & Susan Biros. He was the second of nine children. Brothers were Jack, Joseph, George, Peter, & Williams; Sisters were Mae, Anne, & Agnes. In 1927 the family moved from the farm to the west side of Chicago, Illinois where he attended Grammar School and Harrison High School. In 1940, he married Anne Hutira and made their home in Chicago, Illinois. During the 1940's, he began his career as a draftsman and worked for several different companies in the Chicago area including Beck-Lee Corporation, Hallicrafters, and Northrup-Grumman. In 1984, he retired and moved to Harlingen in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. They spent the next 20 years flower gardening, growing vegetables, and fishing in the Gulf. His wife Anne, married for 62 years, passed in July of 2002. In 2004, he moved to Beaver City, Nebraska to live with his son Tom & Dotty Biros where he enjoyed several years of good health and good times before joining the Beaver City Manor family in February of 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, & wife Anne Biros. He is survived by Son: Thomas & wife Dotty Biros of Beaver City, Nebraska Daughter: Susan & husband Richard Onderisin of Cumberland, Wisconsin Grandchildren: Michael Biros, Sean & Katie Brosnihan, Dylan & Elizabeth Biros, & Thomas & Lara Brizzolara Great Grandchildren: Caroline & Dean Brosnihan, Annie & Elia Biros, & Ryan Kaylee Brizzolara Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 9 AM at Beaver City Manor, Beaver City, Nebraska with Father Robert Barnhill, officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
