Velma V. Wederski

Beaver City, Nebraska Velma V. Wederski, age 83, of Beaver City, Nebraska died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at the Beaver City Manor. She was born September 20, 1920 at Bird City, Kansas to Ray & Ruth (Callahan) Tracy. She was raised 17 miles Southeast of Bird City, Kansas along South Beaver Creek. She attended Central School and Center Church near her home. She married Raymond Wederski on April 17, 1946 at Goodland, Kansas. She & her husband worked farm jobs in McDonald, Kansas, Stratton, NE, and several places in Kansas including Norton, Kansas before coming to the Beaver City Area. She moved to the Beaver City Manor on January 19, 2000. Her husband died February 15, 2004. She attended the Free Methodist Church at Beaver City, Nebraska. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Linda in 2003, husband Raymond and brother Willis. Survivors include one Brother: Jim & wife Ruby Tracy of McDonald, Kansas Memorial services will be Thursday, July 8, 2004, 10:30 AM, at the Beaver City Manor with Pastor Arlene Rice, officiating. Private inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
