Ward C. Bundy, age 83, of Beaver City, Nebraska died as a result of a farm accident Wednesday, February 16, 2011 on his farm. He was born July 1, 1927 at Almena, Kansas to Ray and Edna (Luther) Bundy.
Ward attended rural grade school at District #90, and graduated from Almena, Kansas High School in 1945. He started farming following graduation until was drafted into the Army during the Korean War, he served nearly one year, discharging December 12,1951. Following his discharge he continued to farm. He married Myrna M. Rupp on September 1, 1957 at Holdrege, Nebraska. They lived in various towns in Furnas County before settling on their farm North of Beaver City. Ward worked a couple years for Jerry Warner moving dirt before he started his own dirt moving business which he practiced for 30 plus years, retiring in the mid 80;s from dirt moving business and continued to farm till 1990 when he retired.
He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Beaver City, where he was baptized in November of 1950 and served at a Deacon for many year. He also was a member of American Legion Post #28 of Beaver City, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
Survivors include his Wife Myrna of Beaver City, Nebraska
Sister ; Jean Tauscher of Beaver City, Nebraska
and several cousins.

Viewing and visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011, 9 AM until 8 PM at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, Nebraska and prior to services Tuesday at the Church
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Beaver City, Nebraska with Pastor Lawrence Francis, officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City, Nebraska. Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska in charge of arrangements.
